- Discover Redcap Origin
Inside the Riftseeker stronghold to the northeast, the Riftseeker's Torrent, seek the origin of the redcaps. When it is clear where the redcaps are coming from, use the red communication candle to receive further instruction from Liorana.

Liorana says, "The redcaps and brownies have too many similarities for a connection between them to be discounted. However, the exact nature of their relationship is unknown."
"Regardless, the Riftseekers are most likely behind the appearance of the redcaps. Enter the Riftseeker's Torrent and seek out the origin of the redcaps."
"When you discover where the recaps are coming from, do not return to me. Instead, report back using the red communication candle. I will give you further instructions."

Liorana's voice quakes with the candlelight. "From your description, it seems that this 'Xaoxin' ulvari master is corrupting the brownies into redcaps."
"The Riftseekers must be forcing the brownies into Xaoxin's realm. When the ulvari master sees the pure hearted brownies, he cannot help but expend his energy to change them into evil redcaps."
Detailed Information[]
To complete this quest you need to make your way to the portal leading the Oubliette of the Ulvari Master Xaoxin. When you enter the room with the Riftseeker Educators and Standard Issue Text, take the South door.
Locate the stairs and go to the bottom of the stairs to advance the quest.
Use the Red Candle.
